About the Author

My name is Rosamaria, and I created this blog to help you thrive in college and life. I am a first generation college graduate, who will acknowledge the many challenges of college life. I felt unprepared, lost, and alone, when I arrived to the University of California, Berkeley in 2005. It was my dream to attend college but was not ready for the challenging college experience. Eventually, I found my way, and graduated from Berkeley with a Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology, and a Masters of Social Welfare in Management and Planning. I now seek to share everything I learned in those seven years through this blog.
